Fountain Jet Sprays
The conventional concept of a fountain is of a jet of water being thrust into the air, either as a single plume of water, or else a spreading arching cascade. Nowadays a wide number of fountain jet options are available for most pumps that will operate a fountain. The selection presented represents some of the most popular and useful configurations, both for the day-time, as well as night-time illumination.

Geysers
Geysers are of two kinds, those that thrust a narrow column of water high into the air, and the white water foaming spires that are produced when air and water are mixed together and forced upwards. With white water, these may also be broad and turbulent, rather than tall columns of water ,and therefore better suited to the smaller pond.

Solar Fountains
There is an interesting range of solar fountains available to the water gardener. They depend upon a generous supply of sunshine to operate to their full potential, but this rarely causes any constraints. All function with the assistance of a discretely placed solar panel(s), and some have a transformer option for mains electrical use incorporated into them.

Floating Fountains
There are many kinds of floating fountains, from the small Solar Floating Island, to large and powerful fountains like the Midi and Maxi-Stratavator with their many jet configurations, coloured illumination options, and on-shore control panels, which enable the water jets and lighting to be timed and the latter colour blended as well. These more powerful floating fountains are usually moored to the pond floor.
